Hot stone massage... 

Is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated basalt stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body.

The Stones are heated by water and can be place at specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation and to help open up the meridian (energy pathways). Muscles are pre-treated with the heated stones to allow the therapist to more easily perform deep tissue manipulations. Perfect, especially for a winters day.
