Sclerotherapy is a treatment for improving the appearance of veins on the legs. It can also improve symptoms such as aching, swelling and burning (associated with leg veins). Sclerotherapy involves injecting a chemical solution directly into the vein causing it to collapse and stick together and, the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view.

When injected in small doses into targeted areas, anti-wrinkle treatments block the signals between the nerves and the muscles, causing the muscles to relax. They smooth out lines and wrinkles, such as crow's feet and frown lines.
