As I remember, when you first came to me, your hair was completely lacking shape and was difficult to manage. You came with the request to improve your hair and create a more wearable, fashionable style. I believe I achieved this for you, and you were happy with the result at the time.

For your second appointment, you came in wanting your haircut tidied up. As the hair at the nape of your neck was already quite short, and you didn’t mention that you were trying to grow this area out, I wasn’t aware that this was your intention. Based on the information I had at the time, I therefore trimmed the nape shorter.

A lovely  young lady, but it wasn't  till I got home that I really  saw how short it was, I was trying  to grow it a bit longer and keep my neck  shortish.
