Hi everyone! My name is Ocqua, pronounced like the water, and I have been doing hair since I was 10 years old. I am a plant mom, dog mom, and an astrology and true crime enthusiast. I am passionate about locs and twists, and teaching my clients how to maintain healthy hair. One thing that is unique about Locs by Ocqua is that every service includes shampoo and conditioning. We do not complete any hair services without cleansing the hair first. I look forward to servicing you in the future. <3

She did amazing work with my hair! One of the few Gainesville hairstylist and loctitian who truly cares for the well being of their clients hair! :) 10/10 would recommend!!

I had an amazing experience with Ocqua. She included me in every step of our appointment by educating me about how to take better care of my hair. My hair has never been so moisturized after leaving her chair. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

She does beyond what is expected. She quick and makes the whole experience pleasant. Unless she moves, I’m not going to anyone else.
